Art Fest Seeks Artistis

April 13, 2009 by Andy Vogel

The Agora is seeking more vendors and artists for its annual art festival. The event is held at 898 Williams Ave. at the Junctionview Studios warehouse, located in Grandview Heights.

“Agora is a celebration of Columbus' creativity," said Agora intern Sally Polk. "It is an event that works to unite the local musicians and artists that make this city so unique. Agora is about celebrating Columbus' creativity. There will be live music, food, beer, vendors, and a dance party to end the event.”

The event runs from noon until midnight on May 16.

The people of Agora are taking donations to grow the festival. The funds will go to making improvements to the warehouse, foods, and promotion for further galleries.  You can donate at their website or at the event.

All photography, illustration, and film artists are welcomed to register with Agora. Food venders Pattycake Bakery and Rad Dog will be set up out front serving fresh food. There will be a free parking around the studio for visitors.

Further details and contact information can be found at their website.
